Now, if a report in a news portal is anything to go by, the actors are planning to make an official announcement about their wedding soon. With the announcement, they will reportedly be seeking best wishes from their friends in the media fraternity as they have good relations with them.
A source had earlier told ETimes, “Their wedding outfits are being designed by Sabyasachi. They are currently in the process of choosing fabrics for the same; Katrina has chosen a raw silk number for her ensemble, which is going to be a lehenga. The wedding will take place in November-December.”
A report in a news portal had revealed why the actors opted out of an international destination wedding. According to it, Katrina and Vicky both have some interesting line-up of films up their sleeves. While Katrina has to finish the shooting of ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan in 2022, Vicky has to kick-start the shooting of Sam Manekshaw’s biopic. So opting for an international destination for the wedding would have meant more days away from work which they apparently cannot factor in right now. The report also added that given the COVID-19 situation across the globe, they thought it would be best if they picked a destination in India itself.
On the work front, Katrina has films like, ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan, ‘Phone Bhoot’ co-starring Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ali Abbas Zafar’s superhero series.
Vicky, on the other hand, has Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Manekshaw’s biopic, ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ with Sara Ali Khan and ‘Takht’.
