‘Brahmastra’: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to shoot for a dance number before calling it a wrap – Times of India

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly be shooting for a song number for ‘Brahmastra’ in a two-week shooting schedule at a Mumbai studio before calling it a wrap.

According to a report in a news portal, an elaborate set has been set up at a Mumbai studio for the next two weeks. About 40 junior artists will be part of the song number. If all goes well then Ayan Mukerji intends to call it a wrap on his project by November end.

The report also added that after Alia finishes her portions, she will return to the set of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The next schedule of Karan Johar’s movie is reportedly lined up for December in Delhi.

Reports were rife that after wrapping up with ‘Brahmastra’, both Alia and Ranbir will not be taking up any projects before January 2022 as they are getting married in December. In fact, Ranbir has reportedly postponed the shooting of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ to January 2022. However, there has been no official confirmation about the same.

This is the first time Alia and Ranbir will be seen sharing the screen space in ‘Brahmastra’. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in key roles.

Apart from this, Alia also has Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ in her kitty.

Ranbir, on the other hand, has Luv Ranjan’s next with Shraddha Kapoor and ‘Shamshera’ with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
