In an interview with a news portal, the director said that both the actors are immensely hardworking individuals. They put their heart and soul into the characters. She reveals that Swara makes pointers and adds backstory to her character. The same thing goes with Kangana also. She gets into the character so much, she will always put her experience out there. According to Ashwiny, the way they look at it, they want to give their 100 per cent to whatever they do on the job.
Elaborating further about how different they are, the filmmaker added that Swara would practice her lines again and again and would want to keep giving takes because that’s how she is as a personality. With Kangana, she knows exactly her pitch and she will discuss the pitch with me and with her first go, she would be ‘there’. Because the pitch is so correct. She also went on to say that Kangana also asks for retakes when she thinks she has gone ‘wrong’.
While Ashwiny has worked with Swara in ‘Nil Battey Sannata’, she worked with Kangana in ‘Panga’. On the other hand, both Kangana and Swara have worked together in Anand L Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ series.
