According to the latest reports, Raj Kundra had discussed issues over bold content with his team after a government directive to ban explicit content. He allegedly wanted some bold content to be pulled out from the platform and wanted to plan ways to sustain the app referred to as HS, but also doubted if the bold content of Alt Balaji will be pulled down by the establishment.
Meanwhile, reports are also rife that the crime branch has come across a bank transfer into Raj Kundra’s account made by the Hotshot mobile app. The last transaction between the two accounts is as of January 2021, a month before a case was filed against Kundra, and the arrest of the actress who is now found to have been operating the mobile app account, took place.
When ETimes reached out to Mumbai police to confirm these developments, their spokesperson replied, “No comments.” Sources have revealed that the police is investigating all leads.
Earlier in February this year, Mumbai police had reportedly raided a bungalow in Madh Island and busted a live porn video filmmaking racket. An FIR was also registered against Raj Kundra after a woman approached the police.
Previously, about nine people have been arrested in this case and that includes television actress Gehna Vashisht, Yasmin R Khan, Monu Joshi, Pratibha Nalavade, M Atif Ahmed, Dipankar P Khasnavis, Bhanusurya Thakur, Tanvir Hashmi, and Umesh Kamath.
