Kangana Ranaut is an avid social media user who shares several life updates with fans from time to time. Talking about it, today the actor’s father turned a year older. To this, she marked the special day with a heartfelt letter written to her father and added a monochrome throwback picture of him from his early years.

Revealing that she was raised by strict parents, Kangana wrote, “Dear Papa I wish growing up you were not such a strict parent but thank you for those melancholic eyes, curly hair and of course brave hot blood, quick temper and volcanic anger. I haven’t just got your blood but also your fire. Happy Birthday Papa Your’s Babbar Sherni Chotu.”

On the work front, Kangana is awaiting the release of her next film ‘Thalaivi’-the biopic on actress-turned politician J.Jayalalithaa. While the film was all set to hit the theatre screens on 23 April, it was postponed owing to the shutting down of theatres due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across India.

Meanwhile, she also has ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’ and an untitled political drama in her kitty.

She was last shooting for her film ‘Tejas’ helmed by filmmaker Sarvesh Mewara.
